In the late 1950's, Krafft Ehricke (a German rocket scientist working for the US, and designer of such rockets as the Convair Atlas) proposed a manned observation satellite assembled in space from spent fuel tanks. Crewed by four people, it would be 400 feet long and could be set to rotating by small rockets at the "poles" to simulate gravity for its crew.
This reissue of a classic kit builds to an impressive 18"/ 457mm long model, and includes ScaleMaster decals.
