Mercury 9 Rocket Ship Detail Kit (for Pegasus)

Pegasus Hobbies' recently released Mercury 9 Rocket is a nice model kit of fair size. It also comes with some buildings, leaving the model kit builder some leeway with customization. TSDS has produced a full sheet (two pages!) stuffed full of decals for the kit and the buildings, but they did not stop there -- they have included a full color translucent film of the "mission control room" that you can put behind the windows of the large building and you can back-light this as well. Now, you do have to cut out those window panes, and it is a little tricky, but the effect will be well worth it!
