he underside of the part features a control console shaped to mate with the dashboard of the Deluxe Edition Work Bee. To install the part, the builder must remove the lower 3/4" of upper windshield section, or just leave the upper windshield section out completely. Alternately, the control console can be ground off completely so that the Drone Pack can be flush-mounted to the top of the Bee. The Drone Pack is also compatible with the Basic Edition Work Bee.

The Work Bee Drone Pack, based on designs by Jackill, adds remote control capabilities to a Federation Work Bee.
This allows the Bee to be operated safely by an operator inside a starship or starbase to perform tasks that require the Bee to enter dangerous or hazardous areas.
