The Klingon Raptor Class Scout was first seen in Episode 1:14 "Sleeping Dogs" on Star Trek: Enterprise as the IKS Somraw. She is classified in the Vulcan database as being roughly 150m in size with a crew of twelve. The hull is twice as thick as the NX-01 and consists of a molecular coherent alloy that allows atmosheric travel within a planet.

The Delta Quadrant kit in 1/1000 scale consists of four resin parts: the main hull, left wing, right wing and impulse deck. Various size diameter wire and rods are also provided for use where needed as are basic decals.

The overall length of the kit is approximately 6"/ 152mm.

The master was CAD designed and grown on a 3D printer.

  I bought this kit for my daughter to build so I can teacher the proper way to airbrush a resin kit with enamels and using under painting. Delta Quadrant did another outstanding job bringing a screen seen ship to a kit. I have to say the level of detail is pretty incredible. The louvers on the top of the engine pods have to be seen to be believed. This kit is another multi-media kit and contains the wires to simulate the bracing in the Raptor. It also comes with a small decal sheet that has the Klingon Imperial logo. Again this will be another fun kit to build and use to teach my daughter how to airbrush. The level of detail and casting is top grade along with outstanding fit. It is refreshing to open a kit and not look at it wondering how much work you are going to have to put into it to get it paint ready. This kit and it’s sister Klingon kit sound be ready to undercoat with a night’s work.
