In 1994, Paramount Pictures brought together two generations of Star Trek lore by having Capt. Jean-Luc Picard meet his counterpart, the legendary Capt. James T. Kirk. In addition to this event, the film introduced audiences to the next generation of Enterprise, the sleek new U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B. Although different from stem to stern it was still completely Enterprise. The 1701B is a fan favorite version of the ship.

	use caution when buying this kit. this isn't a 1/1000 scale model kit. when held against a 1000 scale kit, such as the original enterprise kit, or the refit enterprise a kit, you will see that the bridge section of the enterprise b kit is about 1/3 the size of the bridge of the other two kits

	i recently bought the new uss enerprise b amt 676 kit from round 2 models. if you hold this up against the enterprise a kit, you will note that the bridge on the enterprise b kit is about 1/3 the size of the 1000 scale kit, yet this is sold as a 1/1000 scale model kit. if you want to buy this kit to go with your other 1000 scale models,DON"T DO IT!!!!! it is not in the same scale

	If you have built this kit before, very little has changed with the exception of the new lower primary hull and the addition of the metal ball joint stand. Have to say my only real disappointment in the kit was the lack of Aztec decals similar to the ones offered in other Round 2 kits. Although I was surprised to see alternate markings for the USS Lakota included in this version. All and all a good kit and glad to have it easily available again.
