This deluxe set of decals for the armor and rib detail of the Moebius Battlestar Galactica kit features 3 letter-sized pages of decals to simulate the appearance of thousands of armor panels and greeblied rib texture of the CGI Galactica designed by ZOIC. It also features all the red striping to go along with them. Apply over your preferred basecoat color, whether metallic or a non-metallic grays. This set includes all the armor decals from the Armor Only set AND the between the rib detail for the length of the ship.

| I purchased this set of decals and was immediately surprised by the amount of detail in them. And believe me, there are a lot of decals here. I spent over 20 hours applying these. The amount of decals for the sections between the ribs is endless. When finished the kit looked amaizing. After applying all of my decals I was again surprised, and not in a good way. After sealing the decals with a clear laquer, the AK-Interactive wash that I used basically removed the print off the decals. So to avoid this I would suggest sealing with pledge floor polish, or any acrylic product you like to seal the decals first. Also, be careful since the decals are very fragile. You will also find that the set does not have decals for every area of the kit. Would I buy these again? Sure I would! Knowing what I know now, I would start by applying a wash only to the armor plates to bring them out, seal and apply decals last. | |
