Vulcan Shuttle Detail Kit

This detailing kit replaces the bottom panel and sled attachment plate of the AMT/Round2 1/187 scale Vulcan Shuttle kit. You also get a new correctly angled docking port, two fuel pods and a detail strip for the underside of the sled.

The bottom panel is a direct replacement for kit part 17 and is based on the design in the Jackill books. The sled plate replaces kit part 10. It was necessary to allow for the new bottom design. The underside of both parts are designed with holes in the middle so you can use the magnets included with the Round2 issue of the kit. The long thin plate adds detail to the front lower edge of the sled. The docking port replaces kit part 19. This one is correctly angled to be parallel to the horizontal plane of the shuttle bottom. The fuel pods go on both sides of the shuttle. You'll need to sand down the vague protrusions in the same locations on the kit part.

The decal sheet gives you two door options for the docking port (Vulcan and Federation), two additional optional doors for the sides of the shuttle, an "iris" access port for the bottom and a front window decal for giving your shuttle a more "classic" feel.
